"The working atmosphere at zeb is warm and pleasant."

Following an internship at zeb, Jil joined us as an Analyst in 2019. Now she tells us why she decided to work for zeb and what her current working day looks like.

How did you get your position at zeb?

I joined zeb as an intern after my Bachelor's degree. During my internship, I gained deep insights into the world of banking and consulting, and I really enjoyed the project work and team spirit that I experienced. I then applied for a follow-up position as an Analyst, and a few case studies and discussions later I was already on a new project—this time as an Analyst.

Why did you decide to take the job as an Analyst at zeb?

My Bachelor’s degree was very theoretical, and I always wanted more practical relevance and career orientation. After my last exam it was immediately clear: first work, then study some more. The Analyst program offers an ideal link-up between a Bachelor's and Master's degree as well as education and career. In-depth practical insight, working in different teams and intensive on-the-job training enhance the academic focus and professional profile.

How would you describe the atmosphere at zeb?

The working atmosphere at zeb is warm and pleasant. Even with tight deadlines, no question remains unanswered and you are fully integrated into the team from day one. In project situations, the focus is on subject matter and sound reasoning. zeb truly follows the principle of "reasoning beats hierarchy".

What does your typical day look like?

No day is like any other. That's what makes my work so exciting for me. It covers everything from business analyses and organizational tasks to customer meetings and from workshops to event planning. And of course the cliché is true: PowerPoint, Excel and a trolley bag are your constant companions.

Which hashtag or smiley would you use to describe your time as an Analyst at zeb?
