Your tasks
- During your internship you will explore the needs of banks and insurance companies as a “temporary consultant” and get to know project work in the financial services sector at first hand.
- Contribute your ideas on the transformation of the financial industry: digitalization, agile work, a wide range of bank management topics and modern IT architectures are examples of the diversity that awaits you.
- You will take on your own tasks, model new solutions together with your team and jointly present the results to the client.
- You will have the opportunity to put the knowledge gained during your studies into practice and to develop further through constructive feedback.
- In a motivated and cooperative team, you will drive change and contribute your skills to assist in breaking molds.
Your skills
- You are at least in the third semester of your Bachelor’s or already doing your Master’s with good grades.
- You have initial experience in consulting or in the financial sector through relevant internships or vocational training.
- You are responsible, committed and team-oriented.
- You work reliably, grasp issues quickly and enjoy immersing yourself in complex problems.
- You question the status quo with curiosity and creativity and support your team in developing new ideas.
- You speak German and English fluently. French and Luxembourgish are beneficial, but not essential.

What did your typical week at zeb look like?
My week was a typical consultant week: packing my suitcase on Sunday evening, traveling to the client’s by train on Monday morning and working there until Thursday. On Thursday evening, I returned home and Friday was my office day

What was the most exciting task during your student work?
Each of my tasks was extremely interesting in its own way. It is always the most exciting when I can contribute my own suggestions and ideas and these are always taken seriously and appreciated. This component gives each individual task a conglomeration of responsibility, creativity and exciting content.

What was the most exciting task in your internship?
My most exciting task during my internship at zeb was definitely the chance to go directly to an event and represent zeb there. I spent some really exciting days with great colleagues and was able to take a lot with me personally while networking.

Were your expectations of the bachelor welcome program at zeb fulfilled?
My expectations of the program were met completely. During my time as an Analyst, I was able to gain valuable insights into everyday consulting work and knowledge of the banking industry. Why did you decide to join zeb directly as an analyst?
My Bachelor’s degree was very theoretical, and I always wanted more practical relevance and career orientation. After my last exam it was immediately clear: first work, then study some more.
