Joining zeb after a Master’s degree

A straight path to success. You’re a freethinker who wants to put their creativity to good use? Then join zeb in consulting after your Master’s degree. Shape the future of the financial industry together with us and show us what you can do. Together we will develop a career plan that is based entirely on your wishes and abilities. We support you in your development and enable you to become an expert by offering a comprehensive range of training and further education.

What we offer

Getting started

Your onboarding at zeb usually gets going with a highlight: the introductory “zeb.start” week, where you will get to know the other newcomers and the company. In various formats, we introduce you to the departments and work tools so that you are optimally prepared for everyday life as a Consultant. The focus of the start week is on expanding your skills. You can expect training sessions and case studies in which you gain valuable insights from experienced project managers and challenge yourself.

You will also be given your consulting equipment: a company smartphone and laptop.

Your first “real” working day starts with the journey to the office you chose during the application process. Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your mentor, known as your “Career Development Counselor”, and introduced to the organization of the location.

Afterwards you will receive information about the project you will start working on. As a Consultant you will work on projects at banks, insurance companies or other financial service providers. The range of topics is extensive and includes everything from digitalization to risk management. If you’re deployed on a client project, you will be out and about from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays you can work from the zeb office or from home.

Your thematic home

We not only place great emphasis on project work, but also on topic work. For this reason, all Consultants choose their so-called “Practice Group”, their thematic home, when they come on board. The PGs develop new topics further and drive both future topics and new technologies. There is usually time on Fridays for this topic work. If the focus of your work changes, it is no problem to change your thematic home and delve into new fields.

Education, training and further education offers

In order to support you in your development in the best possible way, we offer you an extensive training and education program. This will help you to stay relevant in a world that never stands still and give you everything you need to achieve your career goals.

Salary and annual leave

For your commitment, you will receive a performance-related salary consisting of a fixed and a variable part as well as 28 days of vacation per year in Germany. At our other European locations the conditions may differ.

Benefits

Of course, life as a Consultant should not be all work and no play. Take advantage of the opportunity to mix and mingle with your colleagues. Participate in events, experience our corporate culture during the Christmas party or the company-wide networking days at zeb.Uni and use our inviting office spaces for a beer after work or a foosball match! Find out what other benefits you can expect as a Consultant.

What was the most exciting task as a Consultant and why?
"In my first year at zeb, I had the opportunity to develop a market entry strategy for an international challenger bank together with three other colleagues.
