Our application process
Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.
Step 1 – Online application
Basically, it all begins with a look at our career website. So you’ve already started. If you find a suitable position on our job board, you can register in our online portal. Here you have the option to register with your profile (7–10 minutes) or to apply directly (3–5 minutes). Creating an individual application profile allows you to view the current status of your application at any time. Since our application process is based entirely on our career website, we ask you to refrain from applying by e-mail.
What information do we need from you?
- Contact information
- Resume (maximum 5 MB) with information about your academic background, grade point average and previous practical experience
- Cover letter (maximum 5 MB) is optional, but provides additional information about your person and motivation
- Other attachments such as school and academic certificates including grade overview and certificates of work experience
- Your consent to our privacy policy, which you can view in our application tool
Step 2 – Screening
After you have uploaded all of your application documents via the portal, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt from us. And then the ball is in our court: we will examine your application and after a thorough review together with the specialist department, we will decide how to continue. We will try to get back to you as soon as possible – usually within a week. If you have created an application profile, you can check the current status of your application there at any time.
Step 3 – Interview
Wenn deine Bewerbung grundsätzlich zur ausgeschriebenen Position passt, erhältst du eine E-Mail von uns, mit der wir einen Termin mit dir abstimmen möchten.
Je nach Bereich und Position bieten wir in Ausnahmefällen ein erstes Kennenlerngespräch mit Kolleg:innen des Talent Attraction-Teams oder des Fachbereichs an, das noch vor den eigentlichen Interviews stattfindet und dazu dient, grundlegende Qualifikationen der offenen Position zu besprechen.
In der Regel führen wir jedoch insgesamt drei aufeinanderfolgende (virtuelle) Interviews an einem Tag. In seltenen Fällen werden die Gespräche auf mehrere Tage aufgeteilt. Diese Interviews finden mit Kolleg:innen aus dem Fachbereich statt und zielen darauf ab, herauszufinden, ob du mit deinem fachlichen Profil und deiner Persönlichkeit zu uns passt. Im Fachgespräch für unsere Positionen im Consulting steht zusätzlich die Bearbeitung einer Fallstudie im Mittelpunkt. Die Fallstudie gibt dir einen Einblick in typische Aufgabenstellungen bei zeb. Deine Bearbeitung zeigt uns, wie du komplexe Probleme strukturierst, löst und die Ergebnisse präsentierst. Für Positionen der Corporate Functions wird in der Regel keine Fallstudie gestellt.
Step 4 – Entscheidung
Nach den Interviews tauschen sich die Interviewenden aus und treffen eine Entscheidung. Eine oder einer von ihnen wird dir dann innerhalb der nächsten zwei Wochen telefonisch Feedback geben.
Step 5 – Vertragsangebot
Konntest du im Vorstellungsgespräch überzeugen, erstellen wir ein Vertragsangebot, für dessen Prüfung du 14 Tage Zeit hast. Kommen dabei Fragen auf, melde dich gerne bei uns.
Step 6 – Vertragsabschluss
Mit dem Vertragsangebot ist der Bewerbungsprozess fast beendet. Wir haben uns für dich entschieden. Wenn du dich auch für zeb entschieden hast, unterzeichne den Vertrag und schicke ihn an uns zurück. Damit ist der Bewerbungsprozess abgeschlossen. Jetzt bereiten wir alles für dein Onboarding vor und freuen uns, dich bei zeb willkommen zu heißen.
Insgesamt dauert der Bewerbungsprozess ca. 4 bis 6 Wochen.
