Sei als „Research Consultant auf Zeit“ (w|m|d) an der Schnittstelle zwischen Research und Consulting tätig und gewinne spannende Einblicke in die Beratungsbranche und die Projektarbeit im Bereich Financial Services.
Bringe deine Ideen zur Transformation der Finanzbranche ein: Digitalisierung, Nachhaltigkeit, Pricing, Fusionen etc. sind Beispiele für die Vielfalt, die dich erwartet.
Führe unsere Kundschaft mit deinen Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalysen weiter nach vorne. Ergründe ihre Bedürfnisse durch das Interpretieren und Auswerten von Daten.
Übernimm eigene Aufgaben und arbeite im engen Austausch mit Kolleg:innen aus dem Consulting oder präsentiere mit deinem Team die Ergebnisse vor der Kundschaft.

Deine Skills:

Erfolgreiches Studium ab dem fünften Bachelorsemester oder bereits im Master.
Idealerweise erste praktische Erfahrungen im Consulting, Research oder in der Finanzbranche.
Du hast noch keine praktischen Erfahrungen sammeln können? Überzeuge uns mit deinem Interesse an Financial-Services- und Research-Themen sowie deiner Neugier auf aktuelle Herausforderungen von Banken und Versicherungen.
Du bist verantwortungsvoll, engagiert und teamorientiert.
Du arbeitest zuverlässig, begreifst schnell und hast Spaß daran, in komplexe Problemstellungen einzutauchen.
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1-Niveau, verhandlungssicher) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2-Niveau, fließend) in Wort und Schrift.

Our application process

Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.

Online application

The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.

Screening

After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.

Online assessment

For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.

Interviews

If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.

Decision

After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.

Contract offer

If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Contract conclusion

If you have also decided to become part of the zeb team, sign the contract and send it back to us. Once the application process has been completed, we will start preparing everything for your onboarding and welcome you warmly to zeb.

What does a typical week look like for you?

Unlike in consulting, I hardly have to travel at all, which I really appreciate, since I have just moved to Münster and first want to settle down here. My tasks are highly varied, I work on larger projects such as designing a new pricing strategy for a bank, but also frequently on smaller market analyses or the further development of our market models.

On the one hand, we support client acquisitions and projects in the same way as classic consultants do; on the other hand, we are the zeb unit responsible for creating and further developing various market models and studies.
