New ways of working, agile methods and digitalization are modern buzzwords that we repeatedly come across in everyday life. Our employees at TABULARAZA by zeb – the place for digital transformation – deal with precisely these topics in their daily project work. Founded in 2016, TABULARAZA evolved as a result of a larger project at a German banking association and now has two locations in Germany. In today’s episode of our podcast, Sebastian Becker, Manager at zeb and one of the leading heads at TABULARAZA, explains why agility is important in everyday work and how agile methods which increase productivity can be effectively introduced.
TABULARAZA covers no less than four different topics relating to "digital transformation" and "shaping the future". Clients gain comprehensive insights into these topics, especially through workshops. As regards issues of "mindset", answers to the following questions are provided: "What topics must I definitely address?" and "Which start-up, fintech or insurtech companies do I have to know about?" Following this, a digital transformation strategy and a business model are developed. The goal is to show clients how they can establish new services and sources of revenue and thus maximize end-customer value.
TABULARAZA also deals with agile methods such as Design Thinking, Scrum and Kanban and advises clients on the introduction of these new work structures. In addition to digital transformation projects, TABULARAZA is increasingly dedicated to shaping the future and developing business models.
Another topic at TABULARAZA is trend scouting. Even though mega trends cannot be predicted with certainty, we have witnessed major developments in recent months, especially with regard to new ways of working, sustainability and individualization. New ways of working: this not only refers to new work models but also to new organizational approaches – and these topics are continuously growing in importance. One consequence of digitalization is that employees can devote themselves to new tasks thanks to automated processes. Whereas in the past each person had clear responsibilities, a change in values has now taken place. Employees work together by flexibly distributing tasks with the greater goal in mind. This creates interfaces that require a higher level of transparency and communication. TABULARAZA supports the implementation of agile methods such as Kanban. They are used to visually depict how tasks are distributed and what progress has been achieved within the team.
Agile methods aim to ensure that employees not only remain open to new methods and new ways of thinking, but also continuously question the productivity of their current work processes.
