Your tasks:

Regulatory Reporting – from requirement to implementation

  • You support the implementation of regulatory reporting frameworks, including:
    • FINREP, COREP, Pillar 3
    • BIRD / IReF data models and reporting structures
  • You translate regulatory requirements into technical and data-related solutions, such as:
    • Definition of data requirements and mappings
    • Implementation of data flows across systems
    • Design of reporting logic and calculation layers
  • You work on supervisory-driven implementations, e.g.:
    • ECB onboarding / SSM readiness
    • Implementation of findings from On-Site Inspections (OSI)
    • Audit support and technical remediation
  • You contribute to risk & capital frameworks with implementation focus:
    • CRR / Basel requirements in systems
    • RWA calculation logic and optimization approaches
    • EBA / ECB stress testing implementation
  • You implement data governance and aggregation frameworks:
    • BCBS 239 / RDARR
    • Data lineage, controls and reconciliation layers

Accounting – implementation of finance & valuation logic

  • You support the implementation of accounting requirements into systems, including:
    • IFRS 9 (classification & measurement logic)
    • Impairment / Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models and data flows
    • Hedge Accounting / Risk Mitigation Accounting processes
  • You work on integration between accounting and regulatory reporting, e.g.:
    • Reconciliation logic between accounting and regulatory views
    • Data consistency across Finance, Risk and Reporting
  • You contribute to finance system implementations, including:
    • SAP consulting (e.g. S/4HANA Finance, SAP FPSL, SAC)
    • Finance data models and reporting layers
    • Interfaces between sub-ledgers, risk engines and reporting tools

Data, systems & interfaces – your core focus

  • You design and implement end-to-end data flows, from source systems to reporting
  • You define and implement interfaces between systems (Risk, Finance, Data Warehouse, Reporting)
  • You translate business requirements into:
    • data models
    • technical specifications
    • implementation-ready concepts
  • You drive automation and efficiency improvements in reporting processes
  • You ensure data quality, reconciliation and traceability

Growth & responsibility

  • From early on, you take an active role in implementation workstreams
  • With growing experience, you will:
    • own specific data or system modules
    • present results to clients
    • manage (sub-)projects
    • contribute to solution development and business growth

 

Your skills:

Academic background – strong IT/Data focus

  • Degree in: Business Informatics (highly preferred) or Information Systems, Data Engineering, Finance with strong IT focus

Relevant experience / interests

  • First exposure (internships or projects) in:
    • banking, consulting, IT or finance-related environments
  • Strong interest in implementation-driven topics, e.g.:
    • Regulatory Reporting (FINREP, COREP, BIRD, IReF)
    • Accounting logic (IFRS 9, Impairment, Hedge Accounting)
    • Data flows, interfaces and system integration

Key capabilities

  • Strong data affinity and systems understanding
  • Ability to:
    • structure data requirements
    • understand complex data models
    • design interfaces and transformations
  • Interest in tools and technologies such as:
    • SAP (S/4HANA, FPSL, SAC)
    • data warehouses, ETL processes, reporting systems

Languages

Our application process
Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.
Online application
The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.
Screening
After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.
Online assessment
For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.
Interviews
If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.
Decision
After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.
Contract offer
If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Contract conclusion
