As a Senior Consultant / Manager (f|m|x), you advise our clients in the banking sector and financial services industry on complex topics related to liquidity and market price risk. You analyze their current situation, identify new requirements early on and, together with your team, develop tailored solutions – from the initial idea all the way to implementation. In this role, you effectively drive the continued development of your clients’ liquidity risk management, enabling well‑founded decision-making. You assume subject-matter responsibility, manage collaboration within the project and shape the content development of our consulting approaches.
Your tasks:
- You support and lead exciting (sub-)projects at banks and financial services providers in their liquidity and market price risk management, taking full responsibility – from gap analyses and the design of client-specific solutions through to implementation.
- You develop integrated management approaches for liquidity and market price risk, bank-wide liquidity risk stress tests and quantitative modeling frameworks, for example for risk measurement or interest rate, margin and liquidity cash flow analyses.
- In addition, you design methodological frameworks (for example in the ILAAP context) and develop solutions to implement IRRBB and CSRBB requirements as well as net interest income (NII) simulations. As part of your role, you also ensure the effective integration of regulatory requirements, for instance with respect to ICAAP and ILAAP as well as IRRBB and CSRBB.
- You take responsibility for your own deliverables and those of your team and proactively advance topics. With your strong team orientation and professionalism, you foster trust-based collaboration – both within the team and with our clients. You also mentor junior colleagues, developing both their professional capabilities and personal strengths, and thus contribute to the team’s growth.
- You actively help shape the ongoing enhancement of our consulting portfolio, identify relevant market potential at an early stage and derive concrete ideas from it. With your expertise, you support the development of new offerings and the acquisition of new client mandates.
Your skills:
- You hold a degree in mathematics, (business) informatics, physics, statistics or economics, ideally supplemented by certifications such as FRM or CFA.
- You have at least three years of professional experience in consulting or the financial industry. Proven involvement in leading bank-specific implementation projects in liquidity and market price risk management is an advantage, and initial exposure to specialist leadership (for example coordinating team members) is also part of your profile.

- You are familiar with relevant European and German regulatory requirements, including EBA Guidelines on IRRBB and CSRBB, SREP requirements, ICAAP and ILAAP. Initial experience in dealing professionally with external audits is a plus.
- You work and think in a structured and solution-oriented manner and communicate clearly. A client- and team-oriented way of working comes naturally to you, especially when assuming responsibility within a team and engaging effectively with different people and situations.
- You have excellent command of the German language (at least C1 level, business-fluent proficiency) and good English language skills (at least B2 level, fluent), both written and spoken. #LI-LARA #LI-hybrid
