Flexibility

To offer you the best possible flexibility, you don’t have to live in one of our locations to work with us: in addition to appointments with clients, you can choose to travel to the office or prefer to work from home. For this reason, you can choose your location as well as your Practice Group - project groups for specific topics - and easily change them over time, if needed. Individual coaching is very important to us. For this purpose, you will be assigned a mentor, in our case a CDC – Career Development Counselor. If you wish, you can easily change your CDC.

Your impact:

In international and diverse teams, you tackle strategic problems, contribute your expertise, and help our banking clients in addressing their current challenges.
Using modern technologies, you quantify the influence of current megatrends like climate change, on e.g., credit portfolios und develop data-driven solutions for management.
You challenge the status quo of the industry, work out recommendations for further development, and initiate forward-looking decisions.
You bridge the gap between complexity and added value for the business and discuss results directly with the client.
In addition to your project work, you are internally involved in expanding and sharing your expertise, i.e. you work on future-oriented topics such as AI in interdisciplinary teams, assist in developing industry articles, and can directly contribute to shaping your team of colleagues.

Your profile:

You have an academic degree (Master, MBA, or PhD) in business, economics / econometrics, mathematics/natural sciences, or a related field.
You are fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not mandatory.
You have demonstrated interest in consulting and/or finance; initial experience in consulting or the financial services sector is a plus.
You enjoy working in a data-driven way and solving problems in an analytical and structured way. You are proficient in rational decision making based on data, facts, and logical reasoning.
You have the ability to communicate complex and/or technical topics and issues in a management-oriented manner.
You exhibit strong verbal and presentation skills, with the initiative to contribute ideas independently.

Our application process

Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.

Online application

The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.

Screening

After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.

Online assessment

For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.

Interviews

If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.

Decision

After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.

Contract offer

If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Contract conclusion

If you have also decided to become part of the zeb team, sign the contract and send it back to us. Once the application process has been completed, we will start preparing everything for your onboarding and welcome you warmly to zeb.

How would you describe your day-to-day work?

My day-to-day work at zeb is super varied and every day is different. Whether I’m involved in workshops on client premises or working on innovative topics in my Practice Group – the variety of tasks is huge. My project work regularly presents me with exciting challenges that require new solutions.
