Mentoring & Coaching

Together with your CDC (Career Development Counselor) you will plan your personal career path and find support in pursuing your development goals. But mentoring is more than just career planning. It also consists of sparring and feedback from your colleagues in the practice group. PGs are where we exchange and validate ideas, develop innovations, learn together and create something new.

Events

An important part of our culture is the exchange of thoughts and networking among colleagues. You have the opportunity to do so at numerous events, such as the Christmas Party, zeb.Uni, partner dinner or the "Beer & Pizza" format.

Your tasks:

During your internship you will explore the needs of banks and insurance companies as a “temporary consultant” and gain first-hand experience of project work in the financial services sector.
Contribute your ideas on the transformation of the financial industry: digitalization, climate change and a wide range of bank management topics are just a few examples of what awaits you.
You will take on your own tasks, model new solutions together with your team and jointly present the results to the client.
You will have the opportunity to put the knowledge gained during your studies into practice and to develop further through constructive feedback.
In a motivated and cooperative team, you will drive change and contribute your skills to assist in breaking the mold.

Your skills:

You have completed at least two semesters of your Bachelor’s degree program or are already in a Master’s degree program, achieving good grades.
You have already gained (initial) experience in consulting or in the financial services sector through internships / student placements / projects.
You are responsible, committed and team-oriented.
You work reliably, grasp issues quickly and enjoy immersing yourself in complex problems.
You question the status quo with curiosity and creativity and support your team in developing new ideas.
You are fluent in English; Dutch and/or German language skills are a plus.

Our application process

Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.

Online application

The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.

Screening

After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.

Online assessment

For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.

Interviews

If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.

Decision

After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.

Contract offer

If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Contract conclusion

If you have also decided to become part of the zeb team, sign the contract and send it back to us. Once the application process has been completed, we will start preparing everything for your onboarding and welcome you warmly to zeb.
