Mentoring & Coaching

Together with your CDC (Career Development Counselor) you will plan your personal career path and find support in pursuing your development goals. But mentoring is more than just career planning. It also consists of sparring and feedback from your colleagues in the practice group. PGs are where we exchange and validate ideas, develop innovations, learn together and create something new.

Onboarding events

As part of our onboarding journey, we host various events where you can experience our culture firsthand, meet other newcomers, and learn the ins and outs of your everyday work at zeb. zeb.start is a welcome week that takes place in Münster and features a varied program. Your impact:

Internships at zeb provide a real impression of life as a consultant, preparing you for a full-time role while working on 1–2 interesting projects with a significant impact on our clients and their business challenges.
You will be a full team member and hold responsibility for a distinct piece of work that helps the team deliver impact within our client landscape.
As part of international and diverse teams, you tackle strategic problems in the banking industry and develop data driven solutions for management, for example by quantifying the impact of current megatrends (such as climate change) on credit portfolios.
You challenge the status quo of the industry, work out recommendations for further development, initiate forward looking decisions and bridge the gap between complexity and added value for the client, including presenting results directly to stakeholders.
In addition to your project work, you are internally involved in expanding and sharing your expertise, for example by contributing to future oriented topics – such as AI – in interdisciplinary teams and by supporting the preparation of industry articles.

Your profile:

You are currently pursuing an academic degree (Bachelor, Master, MBA, or PhD) in business, economics/econometrics, mathematics / natural sciences or a related field (you do not need to be enrolled at the time of the internship).
You are fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not mandatory.
Prior work experience is not required; we value demonstrated interest in consulting, finance, and/or risk management through extracurricular activities and initiative beyond academic studies. Initial experience in consulting or financial services is a plus.
You enjoy working with data and solving problems in an analytical and structured manner. You are proficient in rational decision-making based on data, facts and logical reasoning.
You can synthesize complex problems into clear, management-oriented insights, communicate them effectively and collaborate well with colleagues across teams and office locations.

Our application process

Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.

Online application

The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.

Screening

After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.

Online assessment

For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.

Interviews

If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.

Decision

After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.

Contract offer

If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Contract conclusion

If you have also decided to become part of the zeb team, sign the contract and send it back to us. Once the application process has been completed, we will start preparing everything for your onboarding and welcome you warmly to zeb.
