Als Senior Consultant / Manager (w|m|d) berätst du unsere Kunden aus Banken und Finanzdienstleistung bei anspruchsvollen Fragestellungen rund um Liquiditäts- und Marktrisiken. Du analysierst ihre Ausgangslage, erkennst neue Anforderungen frühzeitig und entwickelst gemeinsam mit deinem Team passgenaue Lösungen – von der ersten Idee bis zur Umsetzung. So bringst du die Weiterentwicklung des Liquiditätsrisikomanagements unserer Kunden wirksam voran und ermöglichst fundierte Entscheidungen. Dabei übernimmst du fachliche Verantwortung, steuerst die Zusammenarbeit im Projekt und prägst die inhaltliche Weiterentwicklung unserer Beratungsansätze.

Deine Aufgaben:

Du begleitest und leitest eigenverantwortlich spannende (Teil-)Projekte bei Banken und Finanzdienstleistern im Bereich Liquiditätsrisiko- und Marktrisikomanagement – von Gap-Analysen über die Konzeption kundenspezifischer Lösungen bis hin zur deren Umsetzung.
Du entwickelst integrierte Steuerungsansätze für Liquiditäts- und Marktpreisrisiken, bankweite Liquiditätsrisiko‑Stresstests sowie quantitative Modellierungslogiken z.B. zur Risikomessung, oder Zins-, Margen- und Liquiditäts-Cashflow-Analysen.
Darüber hinaus konzipierst du methodische Frameworks (z.B. im ILAAP Kontext), entwickelst Lösungen zur Umsetzung von IRRBB/CSRBB-Anforderungen sowie NII-Simulationen. Im Rahmen deiner Arbeit stellst du zudem die wirksame Einbindung regulatorischer Anforderungen z.B. in Bezug auf ICAAP/ ILAAP und IRRBB/CSRBB sicher.
Du übernimmst Verantwortung für deine Arbeitsergebnisse sowie die deines Teams und treibst Themen proaktiv voran. Mit deiner ausgeprägten Teamorientierung und Professionalität stärkst du eine vertrauensvolle Zusammenarbeit – im Team und mit unseren Kunden. Außerdem förderst und entwickelst du jüngere Kolleg:innen gezielt weiter und trägst so zum Wachstum des Teams bei.
Du bringst dich aktiv in die Weiterentwicklung unseres Beratungsportfolios, identifizierst frühzeitig relevante Marktpotenziale und leitest daraus konkrete Impulse ab. Mit deiner Expertise begleitest du die Entwicklung neuer Angebote und die Gewinnung neuer Mandate.

Deine Skills:

Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Mathematik, (Wirtschafts-)Informatik, Physik, Statistik oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften – idealerweise ergänzt durch Zertifizierungen wie FRM oder CFA.Du bringst mindestens drei Jahre Berufserfahrung im Beratungsumfeld oder in der Finanzbranche mit. Erfahrungen in der Leitung bankfachlicher Umsetzungsprojekte im Liquiditäts- und Marktrisikomanagement sind von Vorteil; erste Berührungspunkte mit fachlicher Führung (z.B. bei der Steuerung von Teammitgliedern) runden dein Profil ab.
Du hast ein gutes Verständnis für die Steuerung von Liquiditäts- und Marktpreisrisiken sowie für das ICAAP- und ILAAP-Rahmenwerk. Deine analytischen und quantitativen Fähigkeiten setzt du in Modellierung und Datenanalyse sicher ein; Programmierkenntnisse in Python oder R sind dabei ausdrücklich willkommen.
Du kennst die relevanten europäischen und deutschen regulatorischen Anforderungen (z.B. EBA-Guidelines zu IRRBB und CSRBB, SREP-Anforderungen, ICAAP und ILAAP). Erste Erfahrungen im professionellen Umgang mit externen Audits sind ein Plus.
Du arbeitest strukturiert, denkst lösungsorientiert und kommunizierst klar. Eine kunden- und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise ist für dich selbstverständlich – besonders, wenn du im Team Verantwortung übernimmst und dich auf unterschiedliche Menschen und Situationen einstellst.
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1-Niveau, verhandlungssicher) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2-Niveau, fließend) in Wort und Schrift. #LI-LARA #LI-hybrid

Our application process

Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.

Online application

The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.

Screening

After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.

Online assessment

For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.

Interviews

If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.

Decision

After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.

Contract offer

If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Contract conclusion

If you have also decided to become part of the zeb team, sign the contract and send it back to us. Once the application process has been completed, we will start preparing everything for your onboarding and welcome you warmly to zeb.
