Strategische Beratung: Du unterstützt unsere Kunden bei institutsweiten Fragestellungen im Risikomanagement und -controlling – von der Risikoidentifikation über die Messung bis hin zur wirkungsvollen Steuerung. Dabei wirst du zur wichtigen Ansprechperson für risikorelevante Fragestellungen und gestaltest aktiv das Risikomanagement unserer Kunden mit.
Datengetriebene Analysen und Modellierung: Du konzipierst und erstellst Analysen und Modellierungen zu verschiedenen Risikothemen – z.B. zu ESG-Risiken, RWA-Treibern oder Szenarioanalysen – und übersetzt komplexe Risiko- und Steuerungsfragestellungen in transparente Entscheidungsgrundlagen für das Management.
Verantwortung und Projektarbeit: Du arbeitest aktiv in interdisziplinären Projektteams und übernimmst Verantwortung für eigene Arbeitspakete. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit erfahrenen Kollegen und unseren Kunden treibst du Projekte voran und gestaltest zukunftsfähige Lösungen.
Ergebnisaufbereitung und Präsentation: Du machst komplexe Inhalte verständlich, bereitest deine Ergebnisse adressatengerecht auf und präsentierst sie bei unseren internationalen Kunden aus der Finanzbranche.
Wissensaufbau und -transfer: Du baust dein Fachwissen im Banken- und Risikomanagementumfeld kontinuierlich auf, entwickelst im Team innovative Lösungsansätze und wirkst an Studien, Fachartikeln und internen Publikationen mit.

Deine Skills:

Erfolgreicher Hochschulabschluss (Mathematik, Naturwissenschaften, z. B. Physik, oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften, z. B. VWL, BWL oder Wirtschaftsinformatik).
Verständnis und Interesse für die Finanzbranche sowie für aktuelle Herausforderungen im Banking (z.B. AI und Digitalisierung) und regulatorisches Know-how.
Freude an Analysetätigkeiten sowie daran, deine Ergebnisse strukturiert in konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen für das Management zu übersetzen.
Sicherer Umgang mit Consulting-Tools, insbesondere Excel und PowerPoint; Erfahrung mit Programmier- und Datenanalyse-Tools (z. B. Python, R, SQL, VBA) sowie Visualisierungs- und Reporting-Tools (z. B. Tableau, Power BI) ist von Vorteil.
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1-Niveau, verhandlungssicher) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2-Niveau, fließend) in Wort und Schrift. #LI-LARA #LI-hybrid

Our application process

Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.

Online application

The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.

Screening

After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.

Online assessment

For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.

Interviews

If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.

Decision

After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.

Contract offer

If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Contract conclusion

If you have also decided to become part of the zeb team, sign the contract and send it back to us. Once the application process has been completed, we will start preparing everything for your onboarding and welcome you warmly to zeb.
