Unser Projektalltag bei Banken und Versicherungen ist so vielfältig wie unsere Kunden. Was dich während deines Praktikums im IT-Consulting bei uns – neben vielen weiteren Themen – z. B. erwarten könnte:

Du bist Bestandteil eines Teams, welches die IT-Strategie einer Förderbank neu definiert – hier bist du z. B. für die Abklärung der Governance-Aspekte mit dem Kunden verantwortlich.
Du unterstützt bei der Einführung unserer Software zur Bankensteuerung für eine Privatbank – dabei legst du den Fokus auf das Deployment mit Cloud-Technologien und bist in enger Abstimmung mit dem Kunden.
Du hilfst bei der Fusion zweier Banken im zentralen Projekt-Management-Office – hier bist du für den IT-Part verantwortlich und orchestrierst Projektplan und IT-Anforderungen.
Du unterstützt unser Projektteam bei der Prozessoptimierung im Kreditbereich – hier zeigst du Optimierungspotenziale auf, evaluierst geeignete technische KI-Lösungen am Markt und setzt mit unserem Kunden einen ersten Prototyp auf.

Deine Skills:

Erfolgreiches Studium ab dem 4. Bachelorsemester oder bereits im Master mit naturwissenschaftlicher, mathematischer, wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher oder IT-Ausrichtung.
Erste praktische Erfahrungen im Consulting oder in der Finanzbranche sind ein Plus, aber kein Muss.
Du hast etwas anderes studiert oder noch keine praktischen Erfahrungen sammeln können? Überzeuge uns mit...
- deinem Interesse an Financial Services, FinTechs und aktuellen Technologie- und Digitalisierungstrends wie Big Data Analytics, User-Interfaces oder RPA.
- deiner Neugier an den aktuellen Herausforderungen der Finanzbranche und ihren Auswirkungen.
Du denkst strategisch, analysierst und hast Spaß an strukturiertem Arbeiten.
Programmieren in einer gängigen Sprache (z.B. Java, Python, VBA) oder SQL-Skills sind dir nicht fremd.
Du verfügst über sehr gute MS-Offices-Kenntnisse.
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1-Niveau, verhandlungssicher) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2-Niveau, fließend) in Wort und Schrift. #jobspreader

Our application process

Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.

Online application

The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.

Screening

After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.

Online assessment

For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.

Interviews

If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.

Decision

After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.

Contract offer

If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Contract conclusion

If you have also decided to become part of the zeb team, sign the contract and send it back to us. Once the application process has been completed, we will start preparing everything for your onboarding and welcome you warmly to zeb.

When you did your internship at zeb, what did your typical week at zeb look like?

My week was a typical consultant week: packing my suitcase on Sunday evening, traveling to the client’s by train on Monday morning and working there until Thursday. On Thursday evening, I returned home and Friday was my office day
