“I like the appreciative and respectful way people interact and also the deep professional insights.”
Matilda joined Research as a student assistant in 2019. In her testimonial, she tells us about the tasks she takes on and what she particularly appreciates about working at zeb.
What was your application process like?
My application process was quick and uncomplicated. My written application was promptly followed by a phone call with an invitation to get to know me personally in an interview, where I could talk about myself and ask questions. I found the friendly and appreciative atmosphere very positive.
What’s your typical day like?
I sit down at my desk with a cup of coffee and check which new magazines have arrived from the fields of business and economics and especially banking and insurance. I prepare them so that all zeb colleagues have digital access to them and can read the articles that interest them. Afterwards, I move on to monitoring trends: we provide zeb with articles on topics such as digitalization, innovations or sustainability. This way everyone is always kept up-to-date. If there is enough time, I go in search of recent studies and surveys that deal with banking and insurance or trends such as digitalization and artificial intelligence.
Every day I help to ensure that we at zeb stay up-to-date and that everyone can keep up with the latest industry developments.
What do you like most about working as a student assistant at zeb?
I like the appreciative and respectful way people interact day-to-day and also the professional insights I gain through my work. I learn a lot at zeb and my new knowledge and skills will certainly help me in the future.
Which hashtag would you use to describe your time as a student assistant at zeb?
At zeb I deal with current developments and trends in the banking and insurance sectors. I find it very exciting and interesting. I enjoy following these trends and discovering innovations.
