Out now: Our key insights from Q3 2025 for the global banking market 👌 Our latest #zebMarketFlash reveals impressive developments in the international banking sector: ➡Historic market capitalization: The world's top 100 banks reached a record market capitalization of EUR 8.2 trillion. Western European banks particularly excelled with a Total Shareholder Return of +14.8% quarter-on-quarter – significantly outperforming their US counterparts (+9.3%). ➡Valuation levels rising: While Western European banks increased their price-to-book ratio to 1.20x, US banks marked a new peak at 1.89x. ➡Transatlantic economy brightening: After two consecutive quarters, Germany also recorded slight growth (+0.2% YoY). Western Europe surprised positively with +1.5% YoY, while the US continues its robust growth at +2.1%. ➡Interest rate environment shifting: The yield curve in the eurozone is normalizing again after prolonged inversion.
