Mentoring & Coaching

Deine Aufgaben:

Als Abschlussarbeitskandidat (w|m|d) bearbeitest du eine aktuelle IT-Fragestellung aus der Beratung für den Finanzdienstleistungssektor.
Folgende Themen mit Fokus IT-Consulting sind dabei mögliche Ansatzpunkte für deine Arbeit:
- Digitale Transformation – IT Strategie, Outsourcing, Cloud und neue Geschäftsmodelle.
- IT-unterstützte Prozessoptimierung: Automatisierung, Process Mining & Robotic Process Automization (RPA).
- Künstliche Intelligenz im Finanzsektor: Machine Learning, Bots, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generation (NLG).
- Digitale Banksteuerung: Datenmanagement, Serviceorchestrierung und Banking-as-a-Service.
- New Work: Projektmanagement, Agilität und disruptive ORG/IT.
- IT-Security: Kryptowährungen, Distributed Ledger, Tokenization, Smart Contracts.
Gerne kannst du auch deinen eigenen Themenvorschlag anbringen oder gemeinsam mit uns etwas erarbeiten.
Greife auf vorhandene Projektdaten zu oder erfasse und eruiere neue Daten.
Die Zusammenarbeit mit der betreuenden Person wird selbst organisiert (persönlich, telefonisch, per E-Mail).
Du kannst dich voll auf das Schreiben deiner Thesis konzentrieren – die Abschlussarbeit beinhaltet keine studentische Mitarbeit neben dem Studium.
Am Ende honorieren wir deinen Erfolg – zusätzlich zu den gewonnenen Insights aus dem Unternehmen – mit einem Bonus bei entsprechender Abschlussnote.

Deine Skills:

Studium der (Wirtschafts-)Informatik, (Wirtschafts-)Mathematik, BWL/VWL mit Nebenfach Informatik o. Ä.
Erste praktische Erfahrungen im Consulting-, Finanz- oder IT-Umfeld sind ein Plus.
Du bist an aktuellen Themen und Trends aus Beratung, Banken oder Versicherungen und vor allem der IT interessiert.
Du gehst neugierig, eigenständig und gemeinschaftlich neue Themen an.
Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1-Niveau, verhandlungssicher) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2-Niveau, fließend) in Wort und Schrift und Programmiersprachen sind von Vorteil, aber kein Muss. #LI-LN1 #LIHybrid

Our application process

Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.

Online application

The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.

Screening

After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.

Online assessment

For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.

Interviews

If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.

Decision

After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.

Contract offer

If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Contract conclusion

If you have also decided to become part of the zeb team, sign the contract and send it back to us. Once the application process has been completed, we will start preparing everything for your onboarding and welcome you warmly to zeb.

When you did your internship at zeb, what did your typical week at zeb look like?

My week was a typical consultant week: packing my suitcase on Sunday evening, traveling to the client’s by train on Monday morning and working there until Thursday. On Thursday evening, I returned home and Friday was my office day
