Bei zeb gestaltest du die Zukunft der digitalen Sicherheit in der Cloud aktiv mit. Du hast die einzigartige Möglichkeit, an innovativen Lösungen für führende Cloud-Provider (insbesondere AWS, aber auch Azure und GCP) zu arbeiten.
Deine Aufgaben können vielfältig sein , zum Beispiel im sicheren Betrieb unserer Infrastruktur, im Betrieb von Kundenumgebungen, in der Anwendungsentwicklung oder im DevOps-Bereich – alles komplett in der Cloud!
Du entwickelst Sicherheitsarchitekturen, unterstützt unsere Entwicklungs- und Betriebsteams als versierte:r Expert:in und setzt Sicherheitsmaßnahmen gemeinsam mit engagierten Kolleg:innen technisch um.
Unsere cloudbasierten Lösungen sind alles andere als langweilig. Hochwertige Benutzeroberflächen, massive Skalierbarkeit in der Cloud und ein hoher Automatisierungsgrad sind im Finanzbereich gefragt und fordern unsere Kreativität jeden Tag aufs Neue heraus.

Deine Skills:

Du verfügst über ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (Bachelor- oder Masterniveau) im Bereich Informatik oder über eine vergleichbare Ausbildung.
Du begeisterst dich für alles rund um Cloud Security und verfügst über ein breites Fachwissen sowie mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Anwendung von Sicherheitsstandards und den entsprechenden Technologien.
Mit fundierten AWS-Kenntnissen, einem AWS-Security-Zertifikat sowie Erfahrung in SIEM-Lösungen, PEN-Tests und der Analyse von Angriffsvektoren bringst du ein umfassendes Sicherheitsverständnis und Fachkompetenz mit, um komplexe Herausforderungen zu meistern.
Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Terraform, Helm und Git sind von Vorteil.
Du magst analytische Herausforderungen und hast Spaß daran, dich tief in Problemstellungen einzuarbeiten und in einem motivierten Team Lösungen zu entwickeln.
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1-Niveau, verhandlungssicher) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2-Niveau, fließend) in Wort und Schrift. #LI-Hybrid #LI-LE1

Our application process

Are you wondering what the application process is like at zeb and do you want to know what you can expect from us? Then this is the place for you.

Online application

The application process starts on our career website, where you can search for jobs that suit you. If you find a job you would like to apply for, you can do so via our online portal – either with a profile (7–10 minutes) or without a profile (3–5 minutes) – and submit all required documents.

Screening

After you have submitted your application and received a confirmation of receipt, we will review your application together with the specific department. You can check your application status in your profile at any time or you will receive feedback from us after one week at the latest.

Online assessment

For our entry-level positions in consulting within the DACH region (Consultant/Analyst), the next step is to complete our online assessment. This does not include positions at our subsidiaries findic and applied by zeb.

Interviews

If your application fits the position, we will schedule three consecutive (virtual) interviews with the recruiting team and the department via e-mail. The application process for consulting positions will additionally include at least one case study.

Decision

After the interviews, the interviewers exchange their opinions and make a decision. One of them will then give you feedback by phone within a few days.

Contract offer

If you were able to convince the job interviewers, we will prepare a contract offer and you will have 14 days to review it. If any questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Contract conclusion

If you have also decided to become part of the zeb team, sign the contract and send it back to us. Once the application process has been completed, we will start preparing everything for your onboarding and welcome you warmly to zeb.

What surprised you most about zeb?

The programming language Scala that we use in our project. Because I didn’t know it before. Scala is very much based on category-theoretical structures, which particularly appeals to me as a trained theoretical mathematician.

What was the most exciting task/project so far and why?

My current project. We are designing an application that evaluates the sustainability of commercial borrowers in the three dimensions of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
I enjoy dealing with the topic of sustainability, which is becoming increasingly important. The same goes for the collaboration with colleagues (also external ones) and the client.
